In honor of the 20th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. will feature the largest ever showcase of artwork by people with disabilities next year.

The event called the International VSA arts Festival will take place in June 2010. Organizers say they hope it will help the public better understand the true capabilities of people with disabilities, reports The Associated Press.
