Man With Down Syndrome To Be Honored At All-Star Game

A man with Down syndrome will be one of 30 heroes from across the country honored by People Magazine and Major League Baseball at the league’s All-Star Game.
Brad Hennefer of Cherry Hill, N.J. has Down syndrome and will be recognized for starting Golf For Life, an organization that introduces other people with Down syndrome to golfing.
Nominations were solicited from across the country and then narrowed to 90 finalists. Then, the public voted online to determine the 30 heroes who will be honored at Major League Baseball’s All-Star Game July 14 in St. Louis, reports The Today Show.
