A couple at the heart of one TLC reality show say they’re considering adopting a child with special needs.

In a preview of the upcoming season of TLC’s “The Little Couple” obtained by People.com, the show’s stars Jennifer Arnold and Bill Klein say they’re investigating adoption and are open to taking in a child born with dwarfism or another disability.

“It’s always been on our radar and I think it’s time we start getting serious about it,” Arnold says in the clip, which shows the couple browsing an adoption website.

When they encounter a question about whether or not they would consider a child with special needs, Arnold adds, “that’s exactly what we’re looking for.”

The couple, who both have dwarfism, were expecting a baby last fall but their surrogate had a miscarriage.

“The Little Couple” returns Tuesday at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.

I think that you wanting to adopt an special needs child/baby is GREAT!!!! and GODD LUCK with the process..My husbands and mine experience wasn’t so great…The psycologist had the nerve to say that he could adopt by himself IF he divorced me and be a single parent ’cause he was /is able bodied. My question to her was how did she figure he was going to raise this child alone when he would have to work to support the child. He would have to get babysitters ’cause of being alone and who do you think he would get to babysit—ME!!! Anyways, Good Luck and od Bless!!
