A film about a high school student with a disability is one of 15 that is being honored by President Barack Obama.

The documentary about Archer Hadley, an 18-year-old with cerebral palsy, will screen Friday at the second annual White House Student Film Festival.

The three-minute short focuses on Hadley’s efforts to make his Austin, Texas high school more wheelchair accessible.

Topics of other films picked as “official selections” for the event include homelessness, climate change and gender issues.

The White House worked with the American Film Institute to pick from over 1,500 entries, all focusing on service and giving back.

Held in the East Room of the White House, the event is expected to draw Hollywood notables including actress Hillary Swank and director Steve McQueen.
