(a) IP Addresses: This series of numbers assigned to your computer is automatically collected each time you visit our site. We offer an “Email This Story” feature, which allows users to send a story or other Disability Scoop content to a friend. In order to provide this feature, we require names and email addresses for the sender and recipient. These names and email addresses may be stored by Disability Scoop. Additionally the “Email This Story” feature gives users the option to insert a message or remarks to share with the recipient of the email. Such messages or remarks may be stored by Disability Scoop. Such personal information may be collected in the aggregate (i.e. not shared on an individual basis) to provide data to outside entities about Web Site users collectively. By registering to become a subscriber, you will receive eMail News and other announcements from us. Subscription to eMail News is completely voluntary, and users may choose to unsubscribe from this service at any time by using the “Change email address/ Leave mailing list” option at the bottom of every issue of eMail News or by contacting us. Whenever we collect this personal information, we make an effort to include a link to this Privacy Policy.
