As the economy takes a nosedive, everyone is feeling the pinch. But parents of those with disabilities often have it worse than most. Not only does a disability mean additional expenses for therapies and medications, but caregivers also might miss work due to outbursts or medical needs. And all of these financial pressures increase the chance that homelessness will affect people in this population.
