Hawaii residents with disabilities will face steep cuts starting in February.

The state’s Developmental Disabilities Division is cutting costs by $2.3 million, or 15 percent, for the first half of this year. That means less money for personal assistants, respite, daycare programs and skilled nursing, reports The Honolulu Advertiser.
