“In this movie biographical film from HBO, Temple Grandin’s life is testament to the power of the human spirit and proof that that spirit comes in many versions,” said Horace Newcomb, director of the Peabody Awards, in announcing that “Temple Grandin” would be among this year’s recipients.

This is just the latest honor for the film, which previously garnered seven Emmy awards, a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild award.

Other 2010 Peabody Award winners include National Public Radio, “The Good Wife” on CBS and “Justified” on FX.
