Police say they have suspects in the case of a teen with autism who thought he was taking part in the “ice bucket challenge” but reportedly found himself covered in urine and feces instead.

Last week, the mother of a 15-year-old with autism said she found video of the incident on her son’s cellphone. The Bay Village, Ohio teen is seen standing in his underwear as a bucket allegedly containing bodily waste, spit and cigarette butts was poured over him.

Now, police say they are moving forward in their investigation.

“We are being very thorough in gathering all the necessary facts before presenting to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office. We are not sure when that will happen because we have additional interviews to conduct and further investigative avenues to pursue,” Bay Village Police Chief Mark Spaetzel told Cleveland.com in an email.

The case has garnered national attention and prompted Cleveland-native Drew Carey, host of “The Price is Right,” to commit $10,000 as a reward to help find the culprits.

Other celebrities including Jenny McCarthy and her husband Donnie Wahlberg quickly followed suit, offering to match Carey’s commitment.
