Ten people are under arrest in China accused of beating 32 people with disabilities who they purchased and forced to work in a brick factory.

The workers, ages 25 to 45, toiled without pay in slave-like conditions before being freed during a police raid last month.

Reports indicate that the workers were tricked by a taxi driver who told them he would provide work, food and shelter, but instead sold them for just $50 a piece.

Once at the brick factory, the people worked 10 hours each day with little to eat, reports the BBC. To read more click here.
