A wedding is on the horizon when a reality television show following the lives of adults with Down syndrome comes back later this summer.

A&E Network said this week that the documentary series “Born This Way” will debut its fourth season Aug. 15.

The eight-episode run will lead up to the wedding of Cristina and Angel, following the couple as they work through disagreements over their big day and exploring their parents’ concerns for the future.

In addition to the impending nuptials, the upcoming season will see individuals with Down syndrome pursuing driver’s licenses, independent living and entrepreneurship while other romances blossom as well, the network said.

The show, which is produced by the people behind reality television stalwarts like “The Real World” and “Keeping up with the Kardashians,” won an Emmy in 2016 for Outstanding Unstructured Reality Series and received the 2018 Critics’ Choice Award for Best Unstructured Reality Series.

Two episodes of “Born This Way” will air back-to-back on four consecutive Wednesdays starting at 8 p.m. ET.
